Overview
A business website design for Urban Abodes UK. They develops a range of chic student homes and professional homes across the UK. The website provide all the necessary information to the target customers that includes students, professional and the investors.
Process
The design process cycle started with initial requirement gathering because I need to know about the business, target audience and their needs. I put more effort on finding what target audience wants to know and what are biggest competitors in the market. Based on requirement I started building scenarios which provide a fast and effective way to imagine the design concepts. Using the scenario I place persona into context. I find answers to like what happen when the persona experience the service first time? How do they know what to do and how to use the service?
By completing the sketch with words using scenarios i move to paper sketch and task analysis to determine our sitemap which help us to build our wireframe. With the help of initial wireframes we created a high fidelity prototype to perform user testing.
Visual Design
In the visual design I define and finalize the visual elements like typography, color palette, negative space, images etc. I also define the design behavior at different screen resolutions.
